Version Numbering Explanation: There is a new Framework version numbering convention. The new format is as follows: "Year.Month.day.revision", for example, version 2014.6.5.0 was released on 6/5/2014 and is there have been no revisions.
The old version number was based on the date example (1.12.9.12) Format is as follows: (Major Version of the Framework). (Year of the Release). (Month of Release). (Day of the release). So for example, version 1.12.9.12 was released on 9/12/12 and version 1.12.5.24 was released on 5/24/12.
